“These days the nightmares don’t end with waking…they just get all the more real.”
Sometimes it was hard for Sarah to believe that the horror of life in post-apocalyptic Ireland could always get worse.
With Mike gone—mysteriously vanished from their camp—her only option is to go on the road to try to find him.
The road—filled with bandits, opportunists, ex-army and one particular hunter who knows only too well what Sarah is looking for and is determined she won’t find it.
In Dead On Sarah pulls deep for every ounce of strength she has left to leave both her children behind while she searches for the man she loves.
The man she knows didn’t leave her voluntarily.
Along the way she’ll finds answers to questions she never dreamed existed.
Unthinkable questions that force her to make a dreaded, final decision once and for all.
For better or worse.
Praise for the Irish End Game series
"A love story, a disaster story, a survival story. The woman who is afraid of everything now had to make it in a world where there is everything to be afraid of."
"Post-apocalyptic adventure set in Ireland...absolutely engrossing!"
"You'll be on the edge of your seat every step of the way."
"Here's one to put at the top of your READ NOW list. Absolutely riveting."
"Well done dystopian fiction; love the Irish setting and thecharacters. Not at all predictable."
"Definitely one of the best series I've read in a very long time."
"If you liked Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander," you'll love this. In fact, The Irish End Games would make a far better TV series than"Outlander." Great style, plot, storyline and totally believable characters."
"After the bomb went off, it's now hunt, farm, garden...or die. I was enthralled by these books. There are so many original turns of events that you simply won't see coming."
"Could NOT put these books down once I started!"
"Absolutely addictive series."
"Once you start, you can't put the books down."
"Strong American heroine in a world coming down around her ears. Fascinating, well done and totally believable."
"I couldn't help wonder what I would do if this happened here. Scary but very real."
"A mother, father and small son from Florida take a vacation in Ireland. A disaster throws the country back a hundred years. No electricity, no food, no cars. It's a great story. Reading them was like riding a roller coaster."

Dead On Book 9 of the Irish End Games eBook Susan KiernanLewis
The wait for this ninth book in the series was well worth it. I read it in one sitting and loved every minute of it. I felt Sarah's anguish over Mike; anger at Robbie; sorrow for Nuala; fury at Fiona; grief for Gavin (although I'm having a hard time believing he's really dead.) Susan has made these people our friends and family. We care deeply what happens to them. Besides feeling their emotions as if they were our own, we can be angry at their human frailty and wonder at their devotion and courage. I am already anticipating the next book....impatiently.Product details

Dead On Book 9 of the Irish End Games eBook Susan KiernanLewis Reviews
I have read everyone of the Dead On Books and I believe there is one more to come out and I can't wait! The pace of the books was very fast, you NEVER knew what was going to happen next in the story line, but in a good suspenseful way. It was hard to put these books down and I bought them as fast as they came out.
I love this series! Susan Kiernan-Lewis writes so smoothly and with such detail you will feel every step Sarah takes in post EMP Ireland. If you enjoy post apocalyptic stories, quests, a bit of mystery, a deep love for husband, children, and friends, if you love adventure, you will love this series as much as I do!
This is another great book by Susan Kiernan Lewis. From the time I picked up this book I could hardly take a break to eat and sleep. The story continues to be action packed and full of surprises. I have read every book in the Irish End Games, loving every minute of each one. As always, I can hardly wait for the next book!
PS On a funny note.. Mike's eyes changed from blue to brown some where along the way.
I absolutely love this series, but this was not one of my favorite books. I hated how quickly and easily the compund people were manipulated and were so disloyal. I was very disappointed in some of the actions and deaths of people I liked. Nevertheless, I can't wait to read what happens nextI I've already downloaded the Book 10, and will begin reading it tonight!
I loved the series, but I think there may have been a rush to get this out and to prolong a series that dealt with the aftermath of the EMP. This book (part 9) deviated from that and became boring in this readers view. I know there is yet one more book coming (i did pre-order) that will hopefully return my view to 5 stars.
Waiting on this book was hard, but certainly worth it. Mike had disappeared at the end of Book 8, and calamity rushes in like a storm wind from the ocean. Sarah sets out to find her husband and finds trouble, despair, grief, and some hope. This is an exciting apocalyptic series, and if you read one, you will be hooked and have to devour the rest. Now we wait for Book 10!
I don't know how Susan (Kiernan-Lewis) does it, but Dead On is better than all eight of the books in the Irish End Game series! I could not put it down in until I finished it and can't wait for White Out (Book 10 in the series). Talk about non-stop, nail biting, can't turn the page fast enough action!! Unbelievable!!
